Currently, the midwest is caught in a severe ice storm and California, where I live, is unseasonably cold instead of unseasonably warm. I have not, however, heard anyone offering that as evidence that the next ice age is impending, and I doubt that the student has revised her predictions. Of course, the current weather isn't evidence of global cooling, or at least not significant evidence. Nor was the weather a few weeks ago significant evidence for global warming. We saw the new movie in the theater before the tragedies of the deaths happened. I loved the movie and am very happy with the direction the new films are taking.
If you liked the original trilogy, my guess is you'll like this. That said, I'm still not over the deaths. So, yes, I loved the new movie, but I can't write about it yet. Turn Up The Cake.

Hamileliğim sırasında Meltem attachment parenting'den bahsetmişti ama ne olduğunu araştırmamıştım, arada kaynamıştı. The ducks think they deserve a blog post too. It has been awhile. Although it's frigid today, with a bitter wind and snowflurries, it was quite nice on the weekend. Everyone got outside for a bit of sunbathing. That's Charlotte and Zydeco the rooster in the back. Here's Warren, aka Vern, the Upper Canada Village duck who winters with us. The girls were hanging out around the water cooler. Twitchy and Zydeco were being manly. Hello, Twitchy! And this poor drake still doesn't have a name. As the stereo is always on in a bachelor's house, the TV is always on in mine. The DVR is always programmed to record my favorite shows and once I look that over, I am usually scanning through for whatever favorite movie might be on. Years ago I was an HGTV fan. That was when Mary Emmerling did her country show every morning and right after that Joe Ruggiano would walk us through some amazing interiors from around the globe. On Sunday nights they also had a show called The Good Life where they interviewed people who left their routine corporate lives to follow their artistic dreams. That show usually left me in tears as I was fantasizing for the day I wanted to open my own store. Ah, to dream. But then somewhere between Trading Spaces and Design on a Dime, something went awry. From American Idol to Design Star I know you are with me when you stare at the TV and say, "How did that person get on this show?" Such is not the case of my favorite must-see-TV, Sarah's House. Generally a very quiet day. Little Egret - Wombwell Ings. Very steady. My sweet, perfect, happy baby boy turned one-year-old today. It's amazing to reflect back on that sunny summer day when he joined our little family. That day was so surreal and wonderful and powerful and moving and absolutely perfect. We were so infatuated with Jake then, and we are so much deeper in love with him now. Jake has brought so much happiness and pure joy into our world, and we still pinch ourselves at the thought that he is ours. Matt and I feel so, so lucky to be the ones he calls "Mama" and "Daddy. " We still can't seem to thank our Heavenly Father enough for that incredible blessing. Jakey, you're the best! We love you forever. Well it has continued to drizzle on and off today but that isn't the worse of our problems. They say it could be a couple of days until we have water. How crazy does that sound!!!Anyway, growing up in New England I was "trained" to have canned food, bottled water, and lots of paperproducts on hand. I think we can make it through a couple of days OK. I will be desperate for a shower by then I'm sure! The photo is of our apple tree that was doing so well before the rain. This was my third escape attempt, but no one has ever realised. In my very early years I was kept in a special unit due to my age. This didn't have bars on the windows, our wandering off was prevented by the windows being made of a very, very tough and thick plastic. .
