Here's an interview I did for in tandem, a blog for ministry wives, about my life as a ministry wife. Can you tell us a bit about yourself, your husband and ministry etc? When I was in my teens I prayed to marry a minister! I knew I wanted to spend my life doing Christian ministry, and that’s how I thought you’d go about it!! God answered my prayer: my husband Steve isn’t quite a “minister” as I meant it then, but he is a student worker at a university in Melbourne. Steve and I studied Arts at Melbourne Uni – but we were really studying Christian ministry, learning on the job at the Christian Union. Steve was part of the first team to ever do an MTS ministry apprenticeship in Victoria! Then it was on to youth ministry at a suburban church for a few years, theological study for Steve, and a PhD in church history/theology for me. Once I’d finished studying I worked as a student worker at a very new Christian Union for a year or so until Elizabeth was born. I'm feeling like I'm continuing to progress and regain my fitness. It seems that where I'm weakest right now is stamina, both mental and physical. I've got speed, and I have good basic endurance. But sustaining speed over distance is hard, both mentally and physically. This has always been my weakness, and pool-running isn't the best way to address it. In the past, I addressed this issue with high mileage and workouts with longer repeats and long warm-ups/cool-downs. Of course, right now with the sharp restriction on my running mileage, that's not an option. Synergy is a good thing when you are a motorcycle museum in a small town in eastern Iowa. Not a day goes by without J&P Cycles, and its customers giving financial and marketing support to the National Motorcycle Museum. "When you call to place an order at J&P Cycles, your customer service rep typically asks, 'Would you like to round up your order dollar amount and make a donation to the National Motorcycle Museum?' and those few dollars really add up," says Zach Parham, Vice President and General Manager, the son of the Founder of J&P Cycles, John Parham.
"Our customers know my dad's passion for motorcycle history and the Museum and like to help out.By the end of the month, with thousands of orders, customers make a substantial donation. Last week we were blessed with the opportunity to stay at the mission house of Heritage Baptist Church. Unfortunately they had plane trouble and ended up staying in Chicago overnight and finally arriving back with us on Thursday morning. Thankfully they made it in time for our concert-we were not excited about the thought of doing it w/o them! Saw this sweet sight one morning as I was walking past the open bedroom door. my parents have greatly encouraged us children to establish the habit of daily personal Bible reading. This got established with us older ones and by the time the younger ones came along their main reason for wanting to learn how to read was so they could join us older ones in Bible reading each morning.

On these, I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink, then poured different colors of embossing powder on and heat embossed them to melt the powder. Then I stamped the flowers from Graceful Greetings.
